Huda is a student living in Port Said with her widowed father, Fathi Al Mahdawi, owner of an import and export company. Naima, an employee of the company, defrauds Fathi although Fathi falls in love with her anyway and marries her. Huda objects to the marriage and goes to Alexandria to study and live with her aunt. There she gets to know and falls in love with her friend’s brother, Shukri.
