Naama lives with her older sister and her family which consists of her husband, Abdul Majeed, and their nine children. Because of the difficult living conditions, Abdul Majeed accepts a proposal of marriage to Naama from a teacher, Al-Batawi. Naama refuses and flees to Mansoura. In the meantime, Al-Batawi holds a wedding with her forged papers presented by Abdul Majeed.
